The Expo was a great SUCCESS!!!

4WHEEL DRIVE EXPO 2000
Saturday, November 18th
 10am to 4pm

Sunday, November 19th:

Thanks to the over 325 4wheelers who attended the 1st 4WHEEL DRIVE EXPO 2000 on Saturday at the Forest Service Headquarters!  There were morning and afternoon speakers on Land Use, Road Issues, Winching Safety, Responsible Wheeling, and other topics.  Trophies for Show-N-Shine and vehicle competions were handed out (including "The Ladies Choice" Trophy, which I graciously accepted!!).

The Show-N-Shine brought out many types of rigs to the Expo...

Competions on articulation ramps tested daily driver rigs to rock buggies for the highest ramp number, and a teeter totter ramp competion was set-up to test balance.  From 12pm to 2pm the outside activities attracted everyone's attention.  Over $2000 in door prizes were handed out throughout the day to lucky ticket holders!  A great sunny day despite the snow Friday night!!

The teeter-tooter ramp was very hard to keep level...

Thanks to High Country for the great ramp show!!

Some of the many local clubs in the Colorado Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs, Inc. (CoA4WDCI) included:  The Big Thompson 4Wheelers, The Hillbillies 4x4 Club, Mile-Hi Jeep Club, The Bronco Registry of Northern Colorado, The Rocky Mountain Pinzgauers, The Colorado RockHoppers, The Colorado Go-4-er's,  If your not in a club, check out and join one of the the many Colorado clubs in your area.

Even the 20 passenger Hummer from Ecstasy Limo dropped by the Expo...

Thanks to the sponsors listed below (Please review their websites and call to tell them to thank them for their support!!), and to the many volunteers , and the U.S. Forest Service who helped make this EXPO 2000 a great success!!  A special "Thanks" to Hobos Sean Tallent, Chris "Colonel" Potter, Chris and Debi Vieth, Ken "The Toolman" Kordes, Paul "Weiszguy" Weisz, and Prospective Hobo Steve "White Moose" Gilbert.
